GABRIELE LELLI is an architect, graduated from the Faculty of Architecture in Florence.
He is Associate Professor of Architectural and Urban Design at the University of Ferrara, Department of Architecture. He carries out research in the field of urban and architectural design, ranging from the scale of the city to the settlement principles that generate it. He deals with sustainable architecture, urban regeneration and healthy city. He collaborated with the Swiss architect Peter Zumthor, Pritzker Prize 2009, and has been invited to give lectures and conferences both in Italy and abroad (Zurich, Barcelona, Bilbao, New York, Detroit and other cities). In 2014 he founded Next City Lab, an interdisciplinary group at the University of Ferrara, Department of Architecture, carrying out applied research on topics such as Smart City and Healthy City. Gabriele Lelli is director of the second-level master programme named “MIC Master | Innovation Management and Communities | matching real and digital city”.
