Scott Carroll is a director and studio lead at LDA Design and an experienced landscape architect. Made up of designers and planners, LDA create low-carbon places where people belong. Scott brings a knowledge of biophilia to make beautiful, sensory environments that are rich in nature, and provide health and wellbeing benefits with projects that include Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and the new Cultural and Educational District at Stratford Waterfront. He is working with Great Ormond Street Hospital to transform the polluted street and square adjacent to the hospital into a safer, healthier, child-friendly place with improved air quality, supporting patients, staff, visitors, and the community. The aim is to establish a new standard for the UK’s city hospital streets.
