“A great platform for learning and sharing”

Since launching in 2017, the Healthy City Design International Congress has established itself as one of the must-attend events for the health and urban design communities. undefined - undefined

 

Sitting at the intersection of multiple fields and sectors relating to health and urban design, the Congress creates a global forum for the exchange of knowledge on the research, policy and practice of designing healthy and sustainable cities and communities.

 

Organised by SALUS Global Knowledge Exchange in partnership with the Helen Hamlyn Centre for Design, Royal College of Art, the Congress explores myriad issues, from planetary health and sustainable development, to healthy homes and neighbourhoods, work and the workplace, smart cities, and transport and mobility.

 

Despite the challenges presented by the global pandemic, last year’s congress was delivered virtually over four days and proved a resounding success, as the following testimonials illustrate:

The site contains all the video presentations from Healthy City Design since it launched in 2017, as well as all the talks from our sister congress, European Healthcare Design, which has been running since 2015. Altogether, this vast knowledge archive adds up to a staggering 800 hours of talks on healthcare, health and the design of cities over six years of running our conferences.
