Congress Special Issue of Cities & Health

SALUS is partnering with the international Routledge journal Cities & Health to publish a Healthy City Design Congress Special Issue of Cities & Health, providing opportunities for both academic exposure, practitioner impact, and policy insight.

Building on our long collaboration with Cities & Health, this Special Issue will benefit from dual dissemination across our combined audiences and communities, enhancing knowledge exchange in the creation of healthier and more sustainable cities and communities. If you wish your abstract to be considered as a potential paper for the Special Issue, please check the box on the Congress abstract submission form. undefined - undefined

Following the submission and abstract evaluation, SALUS and Cities & Health will be in contact to confirm if the authors:

  1. have been accepted to present an oral presentation, workshop or video + poster at the Congress; and
  2. are invited to submit a written paper for the Special Issue, together with details of the editorial review process for final selection.

Please note that the selection process for presenting at Healthy City Design and for being accepted for the Special Issue will be separate evaluation processes, so you may be invited to present at the Congress but not invited to submit a paper for the Special Issue, or vice versa. Authors are invited to submit practice-based case studies, academic research papers, policy-based papers, or commentary.

No paper will be published in the Special Issue without the author’s consent. The Special Issue will be curated by Dr Oliver Jones PhD, a programme committee member for Healthy City Design, and Marcus Grant, editor-in-chief of the journal (pictured right).
