Alessandra is a consultant in the Healthcare Strategy and Planning team at Lexica, with an academic background in economics. She works closely with a broad range of health sector clients in the UK and internationally, supporting projects across data analytics, business case development, clinical service transformation and detailing new models of care. She is a Level 1 Associate Practitioner with Social Value International and is a member of Lexica’s Social Value team.

Within her role, Alessandra has developed a focus on the economic appraisal of investment in healthcare facilities and services. She is particularly interested in considering how the broader benefits to society that are inherent in health sector activities, such as improvements in wellbeing and quality of life, can be captured appropriately in cost-benefit analysis, including aspects that cannot be reliably quantified.
