Caroline Lee-Davey

Caroline has been Chief Executive of Bliss, the UK’s leading charity for babies born premature or sick, since November 2014. She sits on the Executive Committee of the British Association of Perinatal Medicine, NHS England’s Neonatal Clinical Reference Group, and the Scottish Government’s Best Start Implementation Programme Board, among others. Bliss’ vision is that every baby born premature or sick has the best chance of survival and quality of life, and a core focus is ensuring that parents are able to be partners in their baby’s neonatal care.

Before joining Bliss Caroline was the Director of Policy, Advice and Communications at Gingerbread, the single parent charity, where she led on policy and campaigns as well as the delivery of multi-channel information and advice. Caroline was previously Deputy Director of Communications, Policy and Campaigns at housing charity Shelter, and was a trustee of Crisis, the national homelessness charity, from 2014-2020.
