Joe Cruden
Joe is an experienced manager and strategy consultant, who has led infrastructure and business case development, clinical service reviews & configuration design projects, and strategic clinical and estates planning.
Joe has supported several acute trusts to design and deliver major capital programmes. Recent support includes the development of a flexibly-phased and clinically-led redevelopment plan for a community hospital - targeting £50m in capital investment over the next 10-15 years. He has since led the delivery of successful business cases to secure early funding and deliver the initial redevelopment phases.
Joe also leads work at system level, including the development of strategic estates priorities aligned to population need at place level through the "Blueprint" programme in Plymouth, recognised at the 2023 EHDC.
Joe has also led high-profile strategic and regulatory projects across the public sector as a civil servant. He is an accredited mediator and a skilled facilitator of difficult conversations.
