Laura Harrop
Laura Harrop is a Project Manager at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust delivering the Environment and Sustainability workstream for the Hospitals of the Future Project.
Having previously delivered digital and social sustainability projects across the social care sector, Laura joined the Building the Leeds Way team in 2022 where she is responsible for planning, managing and co-ordinating key design elements of the new hospitals project and wider programme. Most recently she has managed the delivery of the IWBI’s WELL Building Gold standard for the Trusts new Centre for Laboratory Medicine which is also a BREEAM Excellent building. Laura has also led the development of a SMART building sandpit to explore how technology can enable a reduction to the Trusts operational carbon.
