As a project director, Tom Debacker follows up on some of VK’s largest projects. With extensive experience managing assignments for hospitals, industrial complexes and psychiatric facilities, he oversees both renovations of existing sites and buildings as well as new constructions. Tom's involvement spans from the initial design phase through construction, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory project delivery. In the fifteen years he’s been working in the healthcare field he has contributed to three of the largest healthcare facilities in the Antwerp and Brussels region. His strength lies in his client-centered and solution-driven approach through open communication while managing to meet and exceed client expectations. Collaborating closely with VK’s in-house teams and external stakeholders, he navigates complex project requirements and advises on optimal strategies to achieve clients' objectives, all while ensuring meticulous planning and adherence to budgets. His proficiency in managing finances and resources plays a pivotal role in the successful execution of projects, which include both publicly funded initiatives and projects backed by private investors.
